The pincushion, named for the long styles that rise from each flower head like pins pushed into a cushion. In the wild they come in yellow, orange and flame red.
Hand-modelled by local sculptor Cristina Salvoldi and cast in plaster in our workshop.
Set in a deep solid timber box frame behind glass created by Made by hand. One of a series of reliefs inspired by the plants of the Cape.
Made to order, by hand, in Cape Town.
